External Filters

External filters are a canister unit that sits outside of the aquarium with tubes fed into the back of the fish tank are a popular choice to allow maximum room in you aquarium, often preferred in larger tanks for efficient filtration, they can be also be neatly housed underneath the aquarium in the cabinet.

We currently stock the Betta External Canister range which offers a comprehensive filtration system at affordable prices, a UV option is also available. These filters are complete with 3 media case layers, replacements which are all carried in stock at Aquarium Liverpool.

We are happy to source Fluval external filters for customers, usually within a couple of days, these include the new Fluval 106, 206, 306, 406 and the FX4 and FX6 external filters.
